Mwanzo Arthi, meaning ‘the beginning of earth’, is inspired by the original Mwanzo motif with a different earthy colour tone. It marks the next step in shaping a textile identity rooted in Kenyan heritage. Inspired by traditional architecture, pottery, and ethnic crafts, this pattern remains a symbol of unity — now reimagined in earth-toned hues that honour our connection to land and origin. Our journey continues as we define and develop our own Adinkra-inspired symbols.
