What is UndaMeta Leso edition?
The UndaMeta Leso is a beautifully designed piece of pure cotton fabric, well loved across East Africa. Every leso features the traditional border (pindo) and bold, vibrant prints by independent designers, though some of our more contemporary designs break the mould with borderless layouts.
Our industrially printed lesos use the rotary method, in three colours: the key (black) plus two spot colours. Each piece measures 165 × 116cm, with the dye penetrating right through the fabric. Minimum order is 2,500 pieces, supplied as joined pairs or cut, packed, and ready for distribution.
For smaller runs, we offer digital printing, also at 165 × 116cm, from a minimum order of 2 pieces (1 gora). Here, the dye sits on the fabric surface and prints on one side only. Digitally printed lesos are likewise supplied as joined pairs or cut, packed, and ready for distribution.
All lesos are delivered within 14 working days and have an unfinished edge as standard. Hemming is available as an optional after-sales service, charged at USD 1.70 + VAT(16%) per gora (3.3m) printed.
