The Afro comb serves not only as a decorative accessory but also as a symbol of political stance and a representation of collective identity when worn in the hair. This leso design has the Swahili proverb, “Vipambo na nguo, hazishindi vyuo” which means, “The value of decorations and garments cannot be compared to that of books or education.”

Available in a transitional Dusk hue and the eclectic, Flare hue.
