Afro Kichanuo Dusk zoom in pattern design by © Nanjala Design for UndaMeta

Afro Kichanuo Dusk

From KShs 1,530.51 per meter

The Afro comb serves not only as a decorative accessory but also as a symbol of political stance and a representation of collective identity when worn in the hair. This leso design has the Zanzibari farsi (saying), “Penye urembo, ndipo urimbo” which means,  “Where there is finery, there lies the snare”.

Available in a transitional Dusk hue and the eclectic, Flare hue.

This khanga will undergo digital printing, resulting in print appearing solely on one side of the fabric and spanning the entire width of the chosen fabric. For a standard leso printed on our light-weight Taikenya fabric, please explore our UndaMeta Leso section for the same design.
