Description
The patterns were inspired by various Kenyan artefacts from various communities and tribes in Kenya. The inspirations were either drawn from the artefacts themselves or the various design elements, shapes, symbols and patterns found on the items. Such as:- The Bread designer from the Bajun community: This is a carved wooden paddler (chapaza namu), used to put designs on bread, it is made by a craftsman from msaji wood.

- Borana Anklet
- Somali Comb: Decorated women’s cob made by men by wood
- Necklace from Tharaka community
- Artistic sculpture of Maasai man
