Fabric Care Instructions

For long-term care, we ensure that you are always clear on the fabric care of your UndaMeta textiles. Below are fabric care instructions for each fabric type that we retail in our store.

Poly-based fabrics

Sensational fabric

Soak into the water along with detergent for about 3-4 minutes, rub gently by hand and drip dry, use low temperature while ironing, do not steam.

Sassy fabric

Use low temperature while ironing, please do not steam.

Sparkle fabric

Soak into the water along with washing detergent for about 3-4 minutes, rub gently by hand and drip dry. Use low temperature while ironing, please do not steam.

Natural fabrics



Tiara fabric

Tiara is a strong canvas fabric. Made of canvas cuts, it is great for designing durable fashion accessories and may also be used to cover items such as: furniture, ottomans, cushions, canvas bags etc.

For your Tiara 100% printed canvas cotton, wash in cold water using a gentle cycle or by hand. Use only mild detergent. Maximum temperature of wash 95°C.

Additionally, you should allow the clothes to dry naturally by hanging them outside on a line. Do not dry in full sun. Do not bleach.

Iron the cloth on high heat while it is still damp to the touch. Maximum temperature 110 °C when ironing. As needed, use the steam and spray buttons liberally.

Trailblazer fabric

This fabric is great for summer dresses etc. For your Trailblazer, 100% printed cotton, wash in cold water using a gentle cycle or by hand. Use only mild detergent. Maximum temperature of wash 95°C.

Additionally, you should allow the clothes to dry naturally by hanging them outside on a line. Do not dry in full sun. Do not bleach.

Twinkle fabric

This fabric is great for durable dresses and wide products like curtains.

This fabric is a sheeting fabric; excellent for a variety of applications due to its soft texture and wide width.

This fabric is a light-weight textiles suitable for making summer dresses and the khanga/leso.

For your Taikenya 100% printed cotton, wash in cold water using a gentle cycle or by hand. Use only mild detergent. Maximum temperature of wash 95°C. Avoid abrasive rubbing.

Additionally, it would be best if you allowed the clothes to dry naturally by hanging them outside on a line. Do not dry in full sun. Do not bleach.
