Maxwell Omondi
Maxwell Omondi is a contemporary artist known for etching his visions on Kenyan identity in fashion through a motif called KENDO, the symbol of unity. He graduated from Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts with a degree in Art and Design, where he was awarded best in drawing and painting. He was selected for a mentorship program at the National Museum of Kenya in culture and heritage.
He is passionate about giving back to his community through sustainability in fashion, where he teaches fabric design to upcoming artists. Maxwell works with oil and acrylics. He has exhibited at the National Museum of Kenya and various exhibitions across Nairobi, Kenya.
