Description

In mind, I had a road construction manager named Walley. He was saddened by an incident that occurred with a deceased person who was carried in a casket for over 4km to his home. He intends to improve roads in his area and all he thinks of and wants to see is good roads. He belongs to the Pokot culture of the Kalenjin Community in Kenya. The Pokot’s Tribal mask was the main inspiration as it is one of the tribe’s cultural artifacts. This is where the motif was extracted from. Colours used are: red, orange, golden yellow, black, white, brown and grey, which have specific meanings according to the Pokot.
