African Print Design Earns Its Place on the World Stage
UndaMeta closes its first international print licensing agreement with a North American institution.

In December 2025, a design representative from North America reached out through the UndaMeta platform requesting access to the Designers Exclusive collection. By April 2026, three original African prints had been exclusively licensed for worldwide commercial use by a North American financial institution.
The selected prints came from two designers, one based in Windhoek, Namibia and the other in Nairobi, Kenya whose work was drawn from both the Designer’s Exclusive collection and the UndaMeta MetaSkills competition shortlist. All three met the full requirements of international institutional due diligence.
For UndaMeta, this is a milestone. It confirms what we have always held: that African surface pattern design is world-class, investment-worthy, and ready for the global stage.
The licensing terms remain confidential in keeping with our client’s requirements.
